Nothing else has the features and functionality of AD Summation. iBlaze has the ability to cull 100,000 documents to what is responsive to an issue. We have attorneys on the road taking depositions around the United States, for sometimes up to two months. They are able to take more then 50,000 documents with them and prepare for the next deposition using AD Summation.

I was introduced to Summation during a seven week trial several years ago. We had close to twenty attorneys involved during the trial, representing six parties. Over a million documents had been produced during discovery, resulting in 4000 plus exhibits. In addition, over one hundred depositions were taken. We loaded the depositions and exhibits into Summation and were able to recall them at a moment’s notice during the trial.

We used Summation again for a four week jury trial in a rural parish court where we had over two thousand possible exhibits. By working each night with our staff, we were able to cover numerous document excerpts with difficult expert witnesses without slowing the pace of the cross examination, all the while simultaneously showing them to the jury on a large screen. The effect on the jury was telling.

We had close to a half-million native files from co-counsel that we needed to quickly import into AD Summation Enterprise for attorney review to locate pertinent documents. I was able to quickly create a load file and import the native files using AD Summation's new data manager tool, EDM, which took approximately 45 minutes to load all of the documents…lightening speed and we met our deadline.
